Their free version is not well advertised on their website, which is strange for a freemium service. Normally, they advertise their free version and hope that the user will upgrade later down the line when they require more power. However, Cyberghost is very sneaky and doesn’t disclose their free VPN, unless of course, I missed some small print on their website. As for their paid version, you can expect to get all the features that Cyberghost offers. The free plan is, of course, limited. But with the paid plans, you get all the features plus a few extras. Their best plans start off at an averagely priced $2.75 for 3 years, which is ok considering this VPN has some interesting options. It is good to know that they don’t vary the features depending on the plan you choose. The only thing that you will notice is the price goes down with the more commitment you place on their platform. This is pretty standard amongst all VPNs. Cyberghost has two different price plans, which deviates from the standard three most providers offer. Moving on to the settings, they were actually quite disappointing. They were very barebones and didn’t have a lot of options for protocols or connections. They allowed you to change the startup procedures, whether or not you wanted proxies and whether you wanted to use random ports with every connection, but that’s about it. Although the number of locations is small, the server count is impressive and much larger than many other providers. As a little extra, they allow offer ad-blocked software with all their plans, as well as malicious website prevention and tracking blocking.
